The Med’oPolo International Clinical Internship Program at FMB Hospital
The University Hospital in Botucatu has been hosting international PJ and Famulatur students since 2010 and has gained a lot of experience with international medical students over the years. The Botucatu Hospital is the largest hospital center in the Botucatu catchment area and supplies Botucatu and the surrounding areas with state-of-the-art technical medicine.
As a university hospital, the hospital trains its own medical students from UNESP through medical internships and bedside education. As a partner program of several German universities, such as the LMU in Munich, the FMB is actively involved in curriculum development for international medical education and is proud to offer medical students from all over the world, especially German medical students, the opportunity to practice in a Brazilian hospital Year Tertial or a Famulature – regardless of existing university collaborations through the Med’oPolo program. We hope to make another contribution to the internationalization of medical education and look forward to welcoming you soon in Botucatu.
FMB has been a partner of the Med’oPolo program since 2013. With our internship program on Med’oPolo, FMB aims to help international medical students by offering a simple and straightforward application. We hope that this step will lay the foundation for a flourishing international exchange of knowledge and culture.
